Tim O' The Oak - Storyteller
The Summer of 2010...It all started a bit late last year on the festival scene...but off we went to Wychwood in Cheltenham, Warwick Folk Festival in, er, Warwick...Wallingford Bunkfest in Oxfordshire (great storytelling venue there!), WyeSide Rock Festival near Hereford, (where I compered in the mud), Fairport Convention's convention (which is near Williamscot, so thats almost a W), The Magnificent Severn near Gloucester(where me playing electric hang is on YouTube, put in Tim Oakes - then ignore the rugger geezer),  and then the HangOut...and finally a visit back to the old Cinderbury Iron Age Village, now called  Stocks Wood, in the Forest of Dean...But the big one for me was Shrewsbury Folk Festival. Three nights on the village stage in the arena, with a cracking audience and mildish weather. It was bliss! Its also on YouTube under Tim O' The Oak. So now if you've never seen me you can watch me...if you see what I mean.

2011

So, the 2011 festival pattern has been EXACTLY THE SAME as last year. (But no WyeSide) And will finish similarly with Shrewsbury and Wallingford. But not Cinderbury...

Oh yes, and did I mention that in last years Shrewsbury Folk Festival programme it said:

"Tim O' The Oak:
One of the country's best-loved storytellers..."
